Handheld EDM (Electro-Discharge Machining) technology optimized for aircraft fastener removal

 

Assignment:  Design and integrate custom control system and user interface hardware/software as part of the product development team.

 

Solutions: Custom control PCB assembly based on Microchip PIC microcontroller, firmware written in C language. Operator interface implemented with Beijer G56 handheld terminal running custom software application. System software allows customization to accomodate individual client and project requirements.
